Mission

To contribute to the integral development of the children in pre-school age of the most unprotected communities of the Medellin and of the Antioquia department, using education as fundamental strategy and with it the education in values to make them useful beings to society.

Vision

To be a self-supporting organization, with wide coverage in pre-school education for the stratum 1, 2 and displaced people because of violence, with high quality, becoming a leader organization in municipal and departmental level.

Programs

Pre-School Education: The Foundation has as its principal program offering pre-school education to boys and girls from 3 to 6 years old, displaced because of the violence and coming from low-income families of social strata one and two. Through this program, children's cognitive, communicative, social and affective, motive, creative, and spiritual growth is promoted in order to obtain an integral development.

Nutrition: Children are provided a snack and a lunch, which represents 50% of the nutritional requirement for their age. Besides, a quarterly (three-monthly) nutritional evaluation is made and families are educated in order that they improve their nourishing habits. Depending on the result of the evaluations, the Foundation sends children with nutritional high deficit to other ONG's (Non-Governmental Organizations) specialized in this field.

Health Care: The Foundation makes a preventine work with the help of public and private entities, in oral, visual health and vaccination. Equally it cares for children that are not covered (protected) by social safety system (displaced population), by means of the remission to non governmental organizations, and/or independent professional, dedicated to offering this service free or in a low cost.

Community Work: Community actions are developed as workshops with parents, conferences and lectures of personal growth.

Adult's Training: The Foundation has been executing the project "Educator of the tender Infancy", whose purpose is the training to women head of family.

How help us?

Donations: The Foundation receives donations in money and in kind, yearly and mothly. The donors are natural and social name. The Institution has the faculty to send certificates of donation to whom like require it, Companies of people who give the donations can use them for tributary (tax) benefits according to colombian legistation. Also, you can donate online via Conexion Colombia.

Godfather Scholarships (Becas Plan Padrino): Through this program a natural or social name can reach for the maintenance of a boy or a girl for one year. This includes education, nourishment, attention in health and school endowment. It is the program flag of the Foundation.

The Foundation is the non-governmental institution that attends most children in pre-school age in Colombia. Annual average 4.000 little boys and girls.
